Human Taxonomy

To understand what's human taxonomy we first need to learn about  humans and then about taxonomy to understand what is human taxonomy. Humans are homo sapiens and they belong to the kingdom Animalia, to the phylum  chordata, to the class mammalia, to the order primates, to the family hominidae, to the genus homo and to the species sapiens. Most scientist say that humans originated in Africa where they reached anatomical modernity about 200000 years ago and began to exhibit a complete behavioral modernity 50000 years ago. Humans have an evolution process many years ago to reach the humans we see today, this evolution could be explained in the following timeline:

Now that we know about humans so now let's take a look of taxonomy. Taxonomy is the part of science which has as an objective to define groups of biological organisms on the the basis of shared characteristics and giving names to does groups. The groups created through this process are referrers to as taxa which means singular taxon. Now that we know a little bit about humans and taxonomy lets go on and talk about human taxonomy. Human taxonomy is the classification of the species  Homo sapiens which is modern human. Homo  is the human genus.  Modern humans are the subspecies of  Homo sapiens sapiens, differentiated from a direct ancestor, Homo sapiens idaltu the current scientific classification of humans, scientists have made various tries to classify humans. They have given  various definitions of the human being and various points of view  for classifying types of humans. Biologists once classified races as subspecies, now a days to classify human species is very difficult because you may be accused for racism which in some places is prohibit to be racist. Today the only thing we know about human taxonomy is that the human species could be classified by: religion, skin color, nationality, physical aspects ( fat, skinny…) and by social class.
